The Role
To offer a full “Advice and Recommendation” service to all customers buying or selling their home through Your Move or Reeds Rains.
To conduct a full and detailed assessment of every customer’s mortgage and protection needs.
To offer face to face and telephone based advice for customers buying or selling a property.
To source mortgages from a large lender panel thereby giving clients the best possible choice of products
To offer protection advice relating to key insurance risk areas: -
- Being able to meet mortgage costs in the event of loss of income due to accidentor illness
- Being able to meet mortgage costs in the event of loss of income due to redundancy
- Being able to repay the mortgage in the event of diagnosis of a specified Critical Illness.
- Being able to repay the mortgage in the event of their untimely death
- Having adequate cover for the structure of the property and its contents
- To offer a service which covers Buy to Let, Let to Buy, Re-Mortgage, Sub Prime, Shared Ownership and Guarantor needs.

All of this is underpinned by a comprehensive supervision and monitoring programme that ensures that we are fully compliant with regulations and delivering added reassurance that we are providing the most suitable advice and continually treating our customers fairly.
How do we encourage the branches to promote your services?
A crucial part of our “One Stop” service is ensuring that our Financial Consultants and Mortgage Advisors work closely with their Residential Estate Agency colleagues. All of our staff are encouraged to promote the benefits of our mortgage service to our customers – not just because it’s their job, but because they too can see the advantages for our customers.
Our Advisors take an active part in daily meetings to explain what’s available or what’s changing in the mortgage market. They also help to train the estate agency staff so that they are able to ‘de-mystify’ the process and confidently introduce Financial Services into their conversations with customers.
Residential staff also receive a share of any income resulting from introducing customers to Financial Consultants, emphasising the overall team approach to offering a complete “One Stop” service.
